Full hull model, in wartime grey finish.


Taken over by the Government in February 1915. Conveyed G.H.Q., M. E.E.F., to Alexandria: was made Headquarters Ship and as such was present at the various Gallipoli landings. When H.Q. transferred to the shore at Imbros, Arcadian was put to "trooping". On 15the April 1917, whilst bound from Salonika to Alexandria, with 1355 men on board, she was torpedoed 26 miles N.E. from Milo and sank in 5 minutes with a loss of 270 lives.
