Object description

image: a study of different elements of a gassed British infantryman standing side-on with his hands on the shoulders of another man in front of him. It includes a full length depiction of the man, with a blanket role over his right shoulder and his rifle resting on his left shoulder, and with a loose suggestion of two other men in line in front of him. To the left there is a study of a pair of legs and towards the bottom right studies of two Lee Enfield rifles being held at a soldier's side.
