Object description

image: a view of the crowded interior of Central Hall, Westminster, from under one of the balconies to the side of the hall. In the centre middle ground Churchill stands at a lecturn giving a speech. Behind him are numerous rows of politicians and dignitaries, bordered by two sets of flags. The stalls and far balcony are crammed full of people, while in the immediate foreground others look on towards Churchill, with two Indian soldiers and a Scottish soldier amongst them to the right.
