Object description

image: The west facade of a ruined gothic church in the late evening at Soissons. The two towers and open doorway surround an empty rose window which echoes the silvery moon appearing from behind the clouds to the right of the composition. Dark birds flutter around the twin towers and the facade is flanked by dark trees in autumnal colours.
