Able Seaman Eugeniusz (surname unknown), a survivor of ORP Orkan (Windstorm), having his wounds dressed by a female nurse at the Polish Military Hospital No. 1 (Paderewski Memorial Hospital) in Edinburgh, 17 October 1943. ORP Orkan was torpedoed by the German U-boat U-378 on 8 October 8 1943 in the Barents Sea with the loss of 179 dead and 44 survivors.
