From top to bottom. Caption reading: 'Let Me Out You Bastards'. Personal inscription/warning made by Horace Davies of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry (KOYLI). Caption reads: 'Warning; Never let your braces dangle; 3 days bunker; KOYLI; Horace Davies'. It could refer to Corporal H. Davies of the KOYLI, Army service number 4468334, POW number 132619. He was imprisoned in Stalag VIIA (7A) in Moosburg, Bavaria, Germany. He could serve time in both camps. Inscription in French (subject to translation). Fort XI of Stalag XXA (20A) in Toruń (Thorn).
