Object description

From top to bottom. Two drawings of a cross with a caption on the bottom reading: 'In Memory of ...' Inscription made by W/R (?) Taylor reading '... Taylor; 8 Days, 16 Sept 1941 (?)'. There were a number of servicemen named Taylor imprisoned in Stalag XXA. Second inscription made by Private F. Heavyside of the Durham Light Infantry, Army service number 4456677, POW number 6702. Caption reads: 'F. Heavy...; No 4456677; ... Coy; Unreadable' He was also imprisoned in Stalag IVA (4A) in Elsterhorst, Saxony, Germany. Fort XI of Stalag XXA (20A) in Toruń (Thorn).
