Object description
Squadron Leader Wojciech Kołaczkowski of the No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron on the wing of his Spitfire VB named 'Ever Ready II' (RF-K, BL670). The aircraft, affectionately known as "Ever Ready Krysia (Christine)", acounted for four German planes.
The aircraft carried three different names - Wojtek (after Kołaczkowski's first name), Krysia and Ever Ready II.
