Object description

General Paul Henrys, the Chief of the French Military Mission to Poland, being cheered by the crowds in the centre of Lwów, February 1919. Note children armed with rifles on the right, voluntary defenders of the city against Ukrainians known as the Lwów Eaglets. The Polish officer on General Henry's right is probably General Tadeusz Rozwadowski, the Commander of the Polish Army "East".
