Object description

Leading Aircraftman Walter 'Spike' Caulfield in the turret of a Hudson of No 206 Squadron. Caulfield was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal for an action on the evening of 31 May 1940, in which his aircraft fought off several Me 109s over Dunkirk.
