British soldiers celebrate as the England football team scores a goal against Paraguay in their first match of the 2006 World Cup competition. The match was broadcast via satellite television to the British military base at Lashkar Gah, Helmand, Afghanistan. A "grumpy" Spotsman remains seated (between the two soldiers on the left) while the rest celebrate. England went on to win the match.
