Pilots of No. 3 Squadron RAAF assembled in their Operations Room in a barn on the edge of the airfield at Agnone, Sicily. Squadron Leader R N B Stevens, who took over the command of the Squadron during the absence through illness of its regular CO, Squadron Leader B A Eaton, can be seen third from the right, sitting at the table. The censor has obliterated the writing on the operations board on the wall to the left of the table.
