Part of the city centre section of the model produced by the city architects as part of the City of Portsmouth Replanning Scheme. The model represents a proposal for the rebuild of the area destroyed during heavy German bombing raids on 10 January, 10 March and 21 April 1941. Included in this section of the model are the main railway station, a park and new civic centre.
