Object description

Dakota Mark IV, KN512, of No. 24 Squadron RAF, parked at Hendon, Middlesex. The aircraft is camouflaged but bears post-war Transport Command markings; i.e. the serial number is painted on the undersides of the wings, and the Transport Command badge and aircraft callsign are displayed on the nose.
