Newly-repatriated New Zealand Prisoners of War undergo a medical examination by Major Johnson, Major Longmore and a colleague in the Medical Inspection Room of the reception centre at the Grand Hotel, Westcliff, Margate. According to the original caption, Major Longmore is himself a repatriated prisoner.
