Matron Miss Maslen-Jones shows baby clothes to a group of Wrens as part of the training they are receiving from the Mothercraft Training Society, probably at the MTS headquarters in Highgate, London. According to the original caption, these clothes were made by nurse trainees. "These garments are designed with a view to economy of material but with due consideration to health and wellbeing".
