Object description
Two of the 28 ex-servicemen training to be teachers at Goldsmiths College (based at Nottingham University since the outbreak of war) are training to have art as their main subject. Here one of the men takes part in an art class at Nottingham University, which, according to the original caption, should give him some "sense of design".
