Object description

A striking view of part of the compressed air tunnel in the Aerodynamics Division of the National Physical Laboratory. This 'honeycomb' is built between the inner air velocity tube and the outer shell of the circulatory system to ensure a uniform flow of air in the tunnel, essential for experiments.
