Object description

At the Youth Hostel in Malham, Nell Petrie (from Jarrow) is helped on with her rucksack by a fellow youth hosteller as they prepare to set off for a day's walking. Behind them, another walker is prepared for bad weather, wearing a raincoat and sou'wester.
