Colonel Oliver Stanley, Air Marshal Sir Arthur Barratt and others look on as two new Royal Air Force recruits demonstrate the use of a Browning .30-inch machine gun as part of their training at an RAF station, somewhere in the north of England. They have recently arrived from the West Indies to train as ground crew.
