Object description

Female members of the Youth Service undertaking a week-long course at Impington Village College, relax in one of several makeshift dormitories created from classrooms at the college. According to the original captions, beds were made up in some of the classrooms with between 8 and 12 people to a room. Some of the students read or write, whilst two others check over their violin and cello.
