A copy of the price list at Steiner's salon in Grosvenor Street, London, propped up on an ornate clock. Treatments range from a shampoo and set for 12/-, through a hand massage or a '20 minute facial clean up', both costing 10/6, to 'permanent waving with coiffure design' ranging from £3 13/6 to £6 6/-. Hand written annotations state that "we regret we are prohibited from applying nail varnish in the salon" and also inform customers that there are "no egg and brandy treatments" and "no lemon rinses" available.
