Object description
As the alarm sounds at a London fire station, firemen of the NFS (working on assembling air lines for military vehicles) drop their war work and race off to attend the incident. Their fire engine can be seen behind them as they run to their posts. There are also several women engaged on war work at the station and they can also be seen leaving the area as the alarm rings.
