Object description

GIs at work roasting, grinding and packing coffee at a US Army store, somewhere in Britain. Left to right, they are: Corporal Norman R Presti (of 1669, Cliff View Road, Cleveland, Ohio), Corporal Joseph Damianoe (of 6210 Palisade Avenue, W New York, New Jersey), T/3 Joseph L Primean (wearing cap, of Saratoga, New York State) and Corporal James Landano (of 10 Hamilton Street, New Haven, Connecticut). The coffee beans arrive in sacks from Kenya under reverse lend-lease.
