Object description
American soldiers play billiards at the 8th Convalescent Hospital at Stoneleigh Park. On the left, nearest the camera, is Corporal Glenn Holt (from 801 South Plate, Kokomo, Indiana), who tore his knee playing football. He has a wife and 14 month old son named Jerry Lee at home. His partner, playing the shot, is Private Clarence Tyler (of Route 6, Richmond, Virginia), who broke his leg unloading engineering equipment. The cast and bandages on Private Tyler's foot is clearly visible. All furniture in the recreation room has been provided by Britain.
