Object description
Resplendent in their theatrical costumes, children evacuated from East Ham to Marchant's Hill School in Hindhead run from the Domestic Science hut, which is the dressing room for the duration of the performance, to the recreation hut, where the play is to be performed. Every child has contributed to the performance in some way or another. The hut on the left of the photograph is named 'Livingstone'.
