Object description
A group of young people attending the Co-Operative Union Summer School at Craig School, Lake Windermere, practice first aid during a walk on the fells. A girl sits on the grass as two boys bandage her legs together, one being used as a splint for the other, 'broken', leg. She is also attended by two girls, one supporting her back, as the rest of the group look on. The First Aid classes at the Summer School in Windermere were led by Mr F Kay of the St John's Ambulance Brigade.
