A nurse supervises as a war worker uses a loom as part of his rehabilitation programme in the sick bay at a Royal Ordnance Factory, somewhere in Britain. The loom was used to strengthen the muscles in the fingers and arms following an accident or illness, and was also used in the rehabilitation of patients with 'nervous disorders'.
