Object description
An audience of war workers applauds the Hirsch String Quartet after the first movement of Dittersdorf's Quartet in E Flat during a lunchtime concert in the canteen of their aircraft factory. Seated at the piano, also applauding the Quartet, is pianist and singer Kathleen Ferrier, who also performed at the concert.
