Object description
A member of the ATS buys a ticket from the 'chair man' for a seat in the bandstand enclosure at the Horniman Gardens. She is at the head of the queue and men, women and children wait patiently behind her to buy their ticket for two pence. The sign above their heads states that programmes for the concert cost 1 penny.
