Object description

Mrs Golding (left) and Mrs Ringrose weigh salvaged cardboard at the central depot in Tostock in Suffolk. Each grade of paper is sold in 4 ton lots and each local village is credited with the amount they have sent it. The cardboard being weighed here raises 6/ 7d per cwt.
