Object description

Patricia Collins and Joan Hayes (aged 15) are monitors from Barnsbury County School in Woking. Here we see them holding a scroll on which the school sends its greetings to Russian children. The greeting has been written in the form of a sonnet. Behind them, a large board is covered in posters drawn by children from other schools, all encouraging the public to support Russia.
