Teatime in the Woolhouse household. Mrs Woolhouse, secretary of the local Women's Voluntary Service, pours tea, whilst Fred Woolhouse shares a joke with his 7 year old daughter Brenda. Their son, Arthur, a 24 year old munitions worker, can be seen at the table drinking a cup of tea. Their budgerigar cage can be seen in the top right hand corner of the photograph.
