A young boy is carried away from the scene of the incident by a Warden, after being rescued by Civil Defence workers. Behind them, Civil Defence workers carry out stretcher cases and search the building for any survivors trapped inside, including the boy's mother, who is buried under rubble to the right of the photograph. This photograph was taken on Edith Villas.
