After delivering a message, the messenger boy accompanies the telephone subscriber to the Emergency Telephone Bureau, where this business man can make a telephone call in response to the message. The road on the left is Sise Lane, so they are walking along Queen Victoria Street in London, EC4. A parked car and several other pedestrians can also be seen.
