Object description

War Savings posters cover the sand-bagged and boarded Eros in London's Piccadilly Circus. These posters tells citizens 'It's up to 'U' to buy War Savings'. A number 60 bus passes on its way round to Aldwych, and cars and pedestrians also go about their daily business. The poster on Swan and Edgar's department store just behind Eros encourages women to 'Join the ATS'.
