Land Girl Doreen Mason, originally from Ilford, rides her horse 'Spitfire' across a field in Springfield. According to the original caption, Spitfire was blitzed in the raids on the London docklands and was evacuated to the country. The caption goes on to say that he was unmanageable until Doreen got his confidence back.
