Object description
A wide view of the group of Pioneer Corps which has formed around the WVS canteen and car in this bomb-damaged area of London, 1941. The men of the Pioneer Corps have been helping to clear away the rubble and debris caused by an air raid and have now stopped to buy a midday snack from the canteen.
