Object description
A volunteer attaches a label to a large sack of clothing which has been sorted at Dudley House for distribution to blitzed areas of Britain. All clothes were donated by charities in the USA under the umbrella of the British War Relief Society. The bags have been clearly labelled with the contents and the sizes of the garments within, so that people in the blitzed areas to where these garments will be dispatched, know what to expect, and will be able to distribute them more efficiently.
