Object description

An elderly female worker makes a tucked lining for a hat on a small sewing machine. To her left, in the foreground of the photograph, a completed lining can be seen (the words 'sons Ltd' are just visible) and to her right, in the background, a stack of discs can be seen, ready to have the fabric for the sides of the lining added.
