Object description

Boys from Creek Road LCC School in Greenwich, London, bring horses in for shoeing and help the blacksmith whilst evacuated to the Llandissilio district of Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1940. Note that the blacksmith is filing the hoof of the horse on the right hand side of the photograph as one of the evacuees hold the horse steady.
