Object description

Two women set up a 'Make Do and Mend' exhibition, possibly at the Ministry of Information headquarters at Senate House, London. They are hanging a panel entitled 'make war on moths'. A second panel can be seen to the right of the photograph which is entitled 'forget about clothes convention' and advises civilians to only wear a hat if the weather is bad or very sunny and to only wear gloves when it is cold.
