West Indian aid to Britain: A mobile canteen bought by people of British Guiana and stationed at Chelmsford in Essex. The canteen travels to local districts feeding the homeless after air attack and also Civil Defence workers. Photograph shows: The WVS (Women's Voluntary Service) running the canteen and local people drinking mugs of tea.
