Object description
HM Submarine SEADOG (P216) in the foreground moving off. In the background is HMS THUNDERBOLT (N25). HMS THUNDERBOLT was originally HMS THETIS which sank with heavy loss of life in the Mediterranean just before the war and was subsequently salvaged. The two objects seen on her after casing are containers for human torpedo chariots.
