Royal Marines of 40 Commando rest and have a meal in a barn which they have converted to temporary accommodation. The wall is decorated with the Union Jack flag and a poster showing a portrait of the Prince and Princess of Wales on their engagement. At the time of the photograph, the Prince and Princess were expecting their first child. Prince William was born on 21 June 1982.
