The Burial Service being read on board HMS SHEFFIELD for two of the crew of the German Tanker FRIEDERICH BREME who were killed by shell splinters during the shelling of the tanker by the cruiser in the North Atlantic. The service was attended by officers and ship's company of HMS SHEFFIELD and officers and crew of the FRIEDERICH BREME. The hangars for the ship's aircraft can be seen in the background.
