General Kazimierz Sosnkowski, the C-in-C of the Polish Armed Forces, decorating sailors of the Polish Navy destroyer ORP Ślązak (Silesian) with the Crosses of Valour, 8 December 1943. Photograph taken during Kazimierz Sosnkowski's visit to the ship in Alexandria. General Władysław Anders, the Commander of the 2nd Polish Corps, can be seen on the far left.
