Object description
An old Polish custom. Polish bluejackets break opłatek (for holy bread) and wish each other health and happiness. The Senior Polish Naval Officer at the Port of Devonport, Commander Konrad Namięśniowski, is seen breaking opłatek with the men at their Christmas dinner aboard destroyer ORP Krakowiak, where he was a guest.
