The stern half of HMS PORCUPINE being towed into Portsmouth by the tug SWARTHY after the ship had been split in two by a torpedo in the Medterranean. The major portion of the ship eventually filled the role of Headquarters HQ ship of Landing Craft Command at Portsmouth.
