alles tun was ihren Kräften steht.

[In this most violent of all wars it is the duty of the German people at home to help the wounded and disabled German fighting men with all
their strength. Given the current state of medical science, every war-disabled man can be effectively helped through therapy and the
preparation of suitable apparatus or artificial limbs. Work must also be found for everyone disabled by the war, ideally in the trade or
profession they had already trained in. Every war-disabled man can and must do useful work in peacetime. State municipalities and
authorities will do all that is in their power to provide for the war-disabled. But all those who remained at home, well shielded by the
protection of our strong German Army and our brave sailors, all must play their part in the great work of charitable provision out of
gratitude and humanity. The Association of Provision for the Disabled is carrying out the work in our district painstakingly and at great
cost. Let everyone give his mite for the new charity with joyful heart. Each gift carries its reward in itself, and will earn the thanks of
the war-disabled for whom we want to provide. Thus our district too will succeed in fulfilling a great and proud duty of the German people.
